Title: Executive Assistant
Position Type: Part Time, 30 hours/week
Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday, 1:30 PM – 6:30 PM (occasional shifts 12 PM – 6 PM based on CEO needs; occasional weekends for events).
Salary Range: $22–$24/hour
Reporting Location: In-Person, Carlsbad, CA
Verdani Partners is seeking an Executive Assistant to work directly with a high-level executive, supporting daily personal and business-related tasks. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing a variety of tasks. This role focuses on personal tasks and event planning, with cross-training to assist with administrative tasks as needed.
This role will report directly to the CEO and will also need to collaborate with the operations team for administrative and event-related support.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Personal Assistant Tasks:
Provide day-to-day personal and family support for the CEO
Manage scheduling and coordinate personal appointments and calendar needs
Assist with pick-ups and drop-offs for the CEO’s two children.
Manage and post content on the CEO’s professional social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)
Run personal errands (dry cleaning, groceries, returns).
Coordinate pet care for the CEO’s dog, including veterinary and grooming appointments
Support vehicle and home related maintenance coordination.
Event Planning & Support
Lead execution of external community events (approx. 2 per week, typically after 5 PM)
Support internal team engagement events and special company events (Annual Retreat, Holiday Party, etc.)
Share live updates and highlights to social media channels during events
Support the company’s Annual Summit and VIBE nonprofit activities
Administrative & Operations Support
Serve as backup support for the Operations and Events Coordinator
Assist with mailing correspondence and general administrative errands as needed
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Required:
High school diploma
Valid driver’s license
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable managing and posting content on social media platforms on behalf of another individual
Ability to capture clear, professional-quality photos and short videos using a smartphone
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Preferred:
Prior experience as an executive, personal, or administrative assistant
Interest in or alignment with sustainability-focused work
PLATFORMS & SOFTWARE
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Office 365, Microsoft Teams, and Monday.com
LANGUAGES
Fluent in English
Fluent in Portuguese and/or Spanish
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
During the execution of job responsibilities, the employee should expect the following conditions and demands associated with the role:
Remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time at a desk and working on a computer
Repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
Occasional light to moderate lifting, bending, stooping, kneeling, or crouching may be necessary
Close vision requirements due to computer work
Adequate hearing for effective communication in-person and/or on the telephone
Ability to move objects weighting up to 25 pounds occasionally, 10 pounds frequently, and/or 5 pounds continuously.
The job is performed indoors in a traditional office setting where moderate noise levels may be present.
