Salary Range: $63,000 - $70,000/year based on experience and knowledge
Reports to: Department Head

OVERVIEW
Verdani Partners is seeking a Certifications Coordinator who will support the Certifications Department primarily in supporting the Project Managers with implementing consistent practices and initiatives in the following green building certifications: IREM CSP, LEED O+M/BD+C, Fitwel, WELL, BREEAM, BOMA and others.
The Certifications Coordinator will help support the Certifications Departments in the following main functions:
Supporting the Project Managers with a variety of analytical tasks for green building certifications (80% of the time): Scheduling meetings, preparing meeting agendas, taking meeting notes, distributing action items, collecting project information from clients, preparing credit documentation, creating external memos and other resources for property teams, and following up with deadlines.
Supporting the growth of the Certifications Department (20% of the time): Research certification case studies, certification-related news, and broader trends in the industry to further develop internal resources for clients and property teams. Help write certifications blogs and articles, and assist with department technology advancements.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary:
Provide analytical support to the Project Managers as it primarily pertains to IREM CSP, LEED O+M/BD+C, Fitwel Certification, BREEAM, BOMA 360 and other certifications on administrative project tasks.
Meet with Project Managers regularly to assist with weekly priorities as they pertain to the execution of certifications.
Attend project meetings and take detailed meeting notes.
Contribute to business development by supporting outreach to internal ESG client teams and maintaining client engagement touchpoints
Send out calendar invites for project deadlines to internal and external teams and follow-up with clients on key deadlines.
Monitor the Department inbox and flag priority or time-sensitive communications.
Keep project documentation and files organized on SharePoint, Monday.com and other programs as applicable.
Keep the Project Managers up to date on new rating systems changes, addendums, upgrades, and other related news.
Assist with other certifications tasks and high-quality deliverables to meet internal and external deadlines.
Work with various vendors and suppliers to request quotes and set up meetings for certification-related services, and industry-related software or products.
Interface with third-party certification organizations and representatives.
Secondary:
Be willing to travel to site visits under the direct supervision and guidance of their supervisor, at least 10% of the time.
Provide Coordinator support to other departments, as needed, for similar administrative, research, outreach, and tracking tasks.
Keep the department up to date on industry news, trends, and products.
Support with updating policies, plans, templates, and tools to align with new certification requirements.
Assist with promoting the latest certification initiatives with existing clients.
Help build a strong Verdani Partners Certifications Department presence in the industry with content creation based on case studies and existing resources internally created.
Conduct quality control (QC) reviews of various certification program portal-uploads for certification application submissions, with training and progression toward detailed certification application QC.
Assist with other tasks to help grow the department.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in engineering, architecture, environmental sciences, urban planning, or a sustainability degree or equivalent 4-year college degree
At least 1-2 years of direct project experience in any green building certification rating system
At least one green building certification credential (LEED Green Assoc., Fitwel Ambassador, etc.)
Knowledge of green building certification programs and sustainability concepts
Demonstrated ability to utilize multiple resources, references, and data to conduct research analysis
Ability to work effectively in a high volume and diverse work environment; ability to analyze, compile and present green building certification-related data effectively into client deliverables
Demonstrate ability to use excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to work collaboratively with others
Capable of handling administrative needs, project management needs, and solving problems efficiently and effectively
Ability to read architectural drawings, mechanical plans, and floor plans
Demonstrate strong organizational skills and time management to balance multiple priorities and ensure timely, accurate deliverables
Preferred:
At least one green building credential is required with preference to those having multiple accreditations: Fitwel Ambassador, WELL AP, and/or LEED AP/Green Assoc.
Experience navigating and using online certification platforms (i.e. LEED Online, Arc Skoru, Fitwel Portal, and/or WELL Online)
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, and PDF editor software
Proficiency in Monday.com or other project management tools
Exhibit strong business skills and a consistent focus on accuracy and detail
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Independent and self-motivated
Commitment to making a positive impact on the world and within the sustainability industry
